This old-fashioned Pine Tar Drawing Salve is inspired by traditional herbal remedies that have been used for generations. Drawing salves are thick, herbal ointments traditionally used to help “draw out” splinters, irritations, and impurities from the skin while soothing the surrounding area.
At Attagirl Soaps, I believe in honoring simple, time-tested ingredients. This salve is made with nourishing oils, natural waxes, and pine tar — a traditional ingredient valued for its soothing, cleansing properties and its long history of use in skin preparations. Pine tar also gives the salve its deep color and distinctive woodsy scent, connecting it to the forests where this ingredient has been harvested for centuries.
This salve is especially helpful for minor skin irritations, splinters, and areas that could benefit from gentle support and protection. The thick texture allows it to stay in place while the ingredients work with the skin.

Comes in a 1 oz tin. A little goes a long way, so even this little guy lasts forever!
Directions for use:
-Wash area and pat dry
-Apply a small amount of Drawing Salve to the area
-Apply a clean bandage
-Repeat up to 4 times a day till better
**Not for use on cuts, as it may cause it to continue to bleed as a result of this drawing power. For minor cuts and burns, I recommend my Tea Tree Oil Salve.
